The Upper Secondary Education offered is characterized by a project of personal growth, leadership, and transformation. It can be taken in various modalities: Humanistic, Social Sciences, Economic, Health Sciences, and Technological, with the option to complete the American DUAL Batxillerat.

The program ensures 100% approval of the PAUs , offering personalized monitoring, cultural activities, stress management workshops, orientation, cohesion, and a focus on work practice with the Stay in the company, in addition to intensive preparation for the PAUs.

Schedules

Morning hours from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 14:30

Curriculum

The modalities and subjects are divided into two main areas:

Humanities and Social Sciences and Sciences and Technology, offering a variety of annual and quarterly electives to adapt to students’ interests and academic goals:

  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Humanistic: Includes subjects such as Latin, Contemporary World History, and World Literature.
  • Social Sciences: Offering Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences, Economics, among others.
  • Economics: A combination of subjects focused on economics and business management.
  • Science and Technology
  • Technological: Subjects such as Technical Drawing, Technology, and others related to engineering and technology.
  • Health Sciences: Includes Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, preparing students for further studies in health sciences.
  • In addition, electives such as Greek Language and Culture, Business Fundamentals, Biomedicine, Psychology, Literary Creation, and Social Issues, among others, are presented to enrich students’ learning.

The modalities maintain the same structure with specific subjects adapted to the second year, including:

  • Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences and Geography for the Social Sciences route.
  • Spanish Literature and Business Operation and Design of Business Models for the Economic Route.
  • Mathematics, Technology, Physics and Biology for the Technology and Health Sciences itineraries.

In addition, subjects such as Greek Language and Culture, Geology and Environmental Sciences, Latin Language and Culture, Art History, Peace, Justice and Correspondence, Technical Drawing, and Physical Chemistry are offered as electives.

HOLOS

This project focuses on teamwork, social entrepreneurship, and Design Thinking . HOLOS is based on workshops and projects that allow students to explore beyond the traditional subjects of the Baccalaureate curriculum, offering learning related to the specific chosen pathway or their future studies.

Objectives : To expand students’ knowledge in areas of particular interest, enhancing creativity, innovation, and critical thinking skills.

IN TIME

A physical education project designed to connect students with the importance of taking care of their bodies through sport.

Objectives : To promote a healthy lifestyle among students, raising their awareness of the importance of regular physical activity for physical and mental well-being.

A project dedicated to personal growth, leadership, and transformation, which acts as a “life subject”. This program focuses on two main areas: personal autonomy, including the regulation and management of emotions and the empowerment of talent; and social skills, such as leadership, decision-making, and communication.

Objectives : To develop the students’ comprehensive personality, improving their personal autonomy and social skills to prepare them for the challenges of adult and professional life.

The Upper Secondary Education is officially recognized, allowing access to higher education and university, as well as facilitating entry into the workforce with a recognized qualification.

  • ESO Graduate (Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate).
  • Technician title, for having passed a medium-level training cycle, which had been accessed through an entrance exam*
  • Technician/or higher qualification for having passed a higher level training cycle to which access had been gained through an entrance exam*
  • Have completed studies abroad that have been approved (or are in the process of being approved) for a secondary education graduate degree, or a technician degree or equivalent.
  • Have completed other studies from previous plans that are approved for the aforementioned studies.

Professional internships form an integral part of the program, offering students the opportunity to gain real experience in companies and institutions, thus facilitating their employment.

The Upper Secondary Education opens the doors to a wide range of higher studies, including university degrees, higher professional training, and other specialized courses.

Depending on the modality chosen, students can access various professional careers in fields such as health, engineering, social sciences, economics, among others.

  • Any official university degree program (once entrance exams are passed)
  • Higher vocational training cycles
  • Higher vocational training cycles in sports education, if access requirements are met
  • Higher artistic education (once the specific entrance exam is passed)
