The Intermediate Training Cycle in Sports Technician in Barrancs consists of two levels.
Level 1: Hiking (480 hours)
The initial hiking cycle prepares students to guide and lead athletes and users on routes through natural areas on marked low mountain trails, as well as in leisure and environmental education activities; collaborate in organizing hiking activities and promote knowledge and respect for the natural, cultural, and human environment; participate in safety control in adventure parks involving trees or artificial structures; all in accordance with the guidelines established in the reference program, safety measures, and optimal quality standards to ensure the satisfaction of athletes and users engaging in the activity.
Students must successfully complete this course and obtain the Initial Hiking Cycle certificate in order to advance to Level 2.
Level 2: Canyoning (770 hours)
Level 2 enables you to design itineraries and lead athletes and users through ravines, summer mid-mountain areas and equipped via ferratas; direct the improvement of the specific techniques used, organize driving activities in these environments, manage the necessary resources and materials and coordinate the activities of the technicians in charge; and all this, in accordance with the guidelines established in the reference programming, safety measures and the optimal level of quality to allow the satisfaction of the athletes and users who do the activity.

Design and Execution of a Canyoning Trip
Students could plan and execute a canyoning trip, taking into account the choice of canyon, route planning, management of necessary equipment, and the application of safety protocols.
Natural Environment Conservation Project
Develop a project that promotes the conservation of natural spaces where canyoning is practiced, in addition to awareness campaigns and cleaning and maintenance activities of the spaces.
Study on Safety Techniques in Canyoning
Research and presentation on different safety techniques, including the use of equipment, specific maneuvers, and emergency action protocols.
