The final cycle prepares students to organize, adapt, direct, and energize the basic training and technical development of riders and horses during the sports technicalization stage in disciplines such as jumping, dressage, and eventing. It also enables them to organize, accompany, and supervise athletes and participants in events, competitions, and activities specific to this level.
Students will manage the necessary material resources and coordinate the work of technicians under their responsibility. They will organize sports initiation level activities and competitions, design routes and circuits suitable for their level, and specify, direct, and adapt equestrian activities for riders with disabilities. Additionally, they will collaborate in the process of detecting and selecting sports talent (rider-horse pairs), all in accordance with the guidelines established in the reference program and maintaining an optimal level of quality to ensure the satisfaction of athletes and users involved.

Students could develop a specific training plan for horses and riders preparing for jumping competitions, including aspects such as physical preparation, jumping technique, and emotional management during competition.

Innovation Project in Dressage Teaching Methodologies

This project could explore new methodologies and technological tools to improve the teaching and learning of classical dressage, for both riders and horses.

Organization of a Complete Horse Riding Competition

Students could work on organizing a complete competition event, including all three disciplines (dressage, cross-country, and show jumping), from initial planning to the execution of the competition, including managing security, logistics, and communication.

Study on Horse Welfare in Various Equestrian Disciplines

Carrying out a research project focused on the welfare of horses in the disciplines of jumping, dressage and eventing, analyzing current practices and proposing improvements to ensure their welfare.

Students who pass this training cycle will receive the accreditation of Sports Technician in the Equestrian Disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Eventing. This qualification qualifies them to professionally develop activities related to teaching and training in these equestrian disciplines.

To access the initial cycle, those interested must have graduated from ESO or equivalent studies, pass a specific entrance exam called by the Department of Education. To access the final cycle, it is necessary to have passed the initial cycle of sports technician 1 in equestrian sports.

The training cycle includes a practical training block, where students can apply and develop the skills and knowledge acquired in a real professional environment, improving their preparation for the world of work.

hose who complete the final cycle can access the Higher Vocational Training Cycle (Grau Superior) in Horse Riding, provided they pass the specific entrance exam for the Higher Cycle in Horse Riding called by the Department of Education and hold the Batxillerat diploma or equivalent studies.
