Course content

Models of action in the face of multiple victims. (40 hours), and L Health logistics in disasters (60 hours).

Includes initial healthcare organization for healthcare assistance in collective emergencies (50 hours)

Participants who successfully complete the Healthcare Assistance for Multiple Victims and Disasters course at JOVIAT will obtain a Level 2 Professional Certificate. This accreditation is an official recognition of the skills and competencies acquired and certifies the holder to work in the healthcare field, transporting individuals in all types of situations, whether urgent or non-urgent.

The course is aimed at unemployed people, offering itself as an opportunity for subsidized professional training. To access, interested parties must meet the specific admission requirements of the program:

  • Have previously completed the theoretical part of the Medical Transfer Professionalism Certificate.
  • Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) certificate or equivalent or higher qualification (alternatively, a key competencies test can be taken at the center).
  • DARDO document (registration in the SOC).
  • Valid DNI or NIE.

The course includes a 120-hour professional internship module, which allows students to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in a real-life situation. These internships are carried out at TSC bases or other emergency medical transport companies.

Completion of the course can serve as a pathway to the Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle for Health Emergency Technician, as all training modules are transferable to this intermediate cycle.

Graduates of the Multiple Victims and Disasters Healthcare Course will have the opportunity to work in emergency healthcare services transporting people in any type of service, urgent or non-urgent.
