Value projects

Llet A2

This project involves the introduction of A2 milk to the market, proposed by the La Torre de Sallent Farm. The objective is to familiarize students with the production and marketing processes of new dairy products.

Sale of a foal

This is a real project where a professionalization center gives students the management of the sale of a foal; with the opportunity to apply marketing and sales techniques.

Foal auction

This project involves setting up an auction of the foals that are tamed during the Equestrian Activities Technician (TAE) courses. It offers practical experience in event organization and commercial management within the equestrian sector.

Artificial Insemination Project

Students practice the technique of artificial insemination on animals from a dairy farm. This project allows students to delve deeper into assisted reproduction techniques and their impact on livestock production .

Kennels project

In collaboration with a local kennel, students develop models on social networks to promote adoption in these centers. They also learn how to treat abandoned animals and take care of them , providing added value to their training in animal health.

The program prepares students for a wide range of professional roles, including livestock managers, animal production managers, equine ranch managers, veterinary assistants, among others.

The course concludes with the Advanced Vocational Qualification in Livestock and Animal Health Assistance and Veterinary Assistant. This qualification has been recognized by the Catalonia Vocational Training Awards for best innovative practices in 2022, and for its collaboration with the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC), among other recognitions.

To access the program, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
hold a Upper Secondary Education diploma, a Specialist Technician (FP2) qualification, an Advanced Technician (Advanced Vocational Training Cycle), or a Technician (Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle); have completed the second year of any experimental upper secondary education modality, COU, the specific access course for advanced vocational training cycles, the university entrance exam for students over 25, or hold any university degree or equivalent qualification.

After completing the course, students can access other higher education courses, undergraduate university studies, or enter the world of work directly.
