The Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle in Equestrian Activities at Joviat School stands out for offering comprehensive training in the equestrian world. This 2,000-hour course, delivered over two academic years, includes 383 hours of Work-Based Training (WBT) in companies within the sector.

Students learn everything from basic and advanced horse riding techniques to the management and organisation of horseback routes, as well as horse care, feeding, and first aid.

In addition, the course promotes entrepreneurship and language proficiency, such as English, which are essential in this professional field.

This program opens doors to various professional opportunities as a horse caretaker , foal trainer , or professional rider , and offers possibilities to continue education at higher levels within the equestrian field.

Monday to Friday, morning schedule.

Curriculum

1st year

Knowledge about diet, handling, and basic medical care of the horse.

Daily care of the horse and maintenance of its health.

Knowledge about the reproductive cycle of horses and breeding.

Learning to ride and control the horse. Learning to ride and control the horse.

Training and preparation of horses for competitions.

Leadership and management of riders during trails.

Planning and preparation of horse riding routes.

Initial care and knowledge in emergency situations.

Communication skills in English within the equine context.
