Intermediate Vocational Training in Snowboarding

Snowboarding is one of the most prominent disciplines in winter sports.

These studies train you to plan and direct the training of snowboard athletes and teams in medium- and high-level competitions, as well as to manage and coordinate schools specialized in this discipline.

Alpine skiing is a specialty of the winter sports modality. The objective of the first level of these studies is to learn the fundamental principles of alpine skiing and promote this sport modality. If you pass the course, you obtain the first level certificate in alpine skiing. The second level qualifies you to teach alpine skiing and train athletes.

Carrying out a research project focused on the well-being of skiers, analyzing current practices and proposing improvements to ensure safe alpine skiing.

Students who successfully complete the cycle obtain the accreditation of Sports Technician in Alpine Skiing, which qualifies them for teaching, training, and conducting alpine skiing activities.

To access the first level of the cycle, it is required to:

  • Be a graduate of compulsory secondary education (ESO) or have equivalent studies.
  • Have passed the university entrance exam for those over 25 years old or a general entrance exam for intermediate-level cycles (for those who do not meet the previous academic requirements).
  • Pass a specific test called by the Department of Education.

To access the second level, it is necessary to have passed the first level of the corresponding sports discipline.

Those who pass the second level can access:

  • A higher degree cycle of sports education in Alpine Skiing, provided that they have a high school diploma or equivalent studies.
  • A higher degree cycle of professional training in the family of physical and sports activities, with the same academic requirements.

  • Alpine ski instructor in the initial phase.
  • Accompanying people during sports practice.
  • Promoter of alpine skiing activities.
