Course content

This module addresses the Yamas and Niyamas, the ethical foundations of yoga, as well as classical texts such as the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita. Mystical concepts such as kundalini and chakras will also be discussed, exploring their relationship to physical practice and spirituality.

Students will learn to create vinyasa sequences and use karanas to improve coordination and body awareness. This module combines theory with intensive practice to optimize the physical and energetic benefits of yoga.

Relaxation techniques such as Yoga Nidra and meditation practices are presented to help reduce stress and promote a clear mind and a state of inner peace. These techniques are designed to deepen awareness and tranquility.

The module empowers instructors to identify imbalances in practitioners and tailor yoga practices to meet their individual needs. It includes techniques for monitoring progress in strength, flexibility, and alignment.

This module covers planning and resource management for yoga sessions, from program design to space and material management. It also covers creating an active community within the yoga community.

Participants will learn how to structure and lead effective yoga sessions, including preparation, execution, and review of activities. This training includes strategies to encourage active participation and well-being of practitioners.

The course provides basic first aid knowledge specific to yoga classes, preparing instructors to handle emergencies safely and effectively.

This module prepares students to apply yoga practices in the socio-health field, combining theory and practice in real environments.

Participants who successfully complete the JOVIAT Yoga Instructor Course will obtain a Professional Certificate. This accreditation is an official recognition of the skills and abilities acquired in the field of yoga teaching, including both practical and theoretical aspects of yoga.
